IAJHSC Feature Council Articles
Each month every IAJHSC district adult director selects a member school in his/her district to be the district's Feature Council. The selected school has the opportunity to showcase its student council by submitting a detailed article about its student council, school, and the activities the council sponsors. The article is then placed on the website for others to read. Through this process the executive board hopes that our member schools will get to know each other a little better. The Feature Council articles help to let our members throughout the state see what other student councils are doing and perhaps pick up new ideas to try for themselves!

Adult District Directors:
- Contact a school from your district and invite them to write an article about their school for the web site.
- Give the school a DUE DATE that will give you ample time to edit it and send it to the Webmaster before the 28th of the month.
- Send them a copy of the appropriate Feature School format sheet (New or Existing member) to use as a guideline for their article.
- Remind them that they are to write an article - not an outline or answer questions.
- Have them email completed article and photos (optional) to you, their District Adult Director.
- Edit their article and attach it to the appropriate header (or a header that you or the Feature School has created).
- Email the completed article and photos to the
Webmaster by the 28th of the month.
